I have reviewed the Snow Leopard agreement on-line and cannot locate the "RETAIL" clause--can you point this out to me?

Also, on-line the $29 Snow Leopard software clearly indicates it is a "Leopard Upgrade"--I will examine a packaged disc at a retail outlet today.

The bottom line for me (regardless of cost) is the benefit. Can you comment on the increased performance (speed) of the switch from Tiger to SL.
